Performance, recognition and expertise
Economic results, Step-Up and Electrifier certification
Economic situation at the end of March
Management presented solid results at the end of March, with orders up 8.4% and revenue up 4.4%.
Particular vigilance remains necessary for the second quarter, given the uncertain international geopolitical context, economic tensions and cost pressures.
CFE-CGC position
CFE-CGC welcomes these good results.
However, the pursuit of performance must not come at the expense of working conditions or employee health.
Step-Up: recognition put on hold
CFE-CGC questioned Management about the suspension of Step-Up recognition schemes, particularly Spotlight and Surge, which are widely used by ACS RP employees.
Management stated that no new information is available at this stage and that recognition based on Step-Up points remains suspended until further notice.
What this creates
A decision that employees do not understand.
Electrifier certification: reminder of the framework
Several employees report that some managers are imposing Electrifier certification, sometimes without dedicated time or prior validation of project eligibility.
Management reiterated that this certification is a recognition of technical expertise and an individual development opportunity.
- It must not be imposed by managers.
- It must be based on a voluntary approach by the employee.
- It cannot constitute a performance objective.
- No Electrifier KPI or quota exists.
Support for volunteer employees
Identify the need: when a need for expertise is identified, a development plan can be set up.
Follow the 3E approach: Educate, Exposure, Experience, with support from Domain Leaders, Assessors, managers and HRBP.
Free up time: managers must support volunteer employees and allow them to prepare properly.
Our warning
CFE-CGC has received several alerts regarding practices that do not comply with the official Electrifier programme framework.
We invite employees affected by these deviations to contact us so that we can support them and help enforce their rights.
