Sick leave, bonus and key dates

Useful information on tools, STIP/SIP and savings schemes

Long-term sick leave and access to tools

During the first six months of sick leave, the employee keeps their PC, phone and access to TalentLink with an active status.

  • In the event of extended leave, Management may request that equipment be returned.
  • After more than three months with no activity on TalentLink, access may be automatically suspended.
  • From six months onwards, the status switches to “suspended” in TalentLink, with access cut off within three days, unless there are regular connections.
  • If access is cut off, GSR / STIP-SIP information remains available through the manager or HRBP.
CFE-CGC advises against regular connections during sick leave: if you are on sick leave, there is a reason for it.

Sick leave and impact on bonus

Employees on sick leave or maternity leave remain eligible for the bonus.

Presence < 3 months Collective STIP objectives are paid according to actual results. SIP sales objectives are assessed at the manager’s discretion. Individual objectives are paid at the target rate.
Presence ≥ 3 months Collective, sales and individual objectives are assessed based on actual results.

Calculation example

€3K

For an annual salary of €60K, a 10% target STIP and six months of sick leave.

If Schneider Electric actually pays €30K over the year, the maximum bonus is calculated pro rata: 10% × €30K = €3K, then adjusted according to objective achievement.
